Brighton Sea Life Centre

The Brighton Sea Life Centre offers over 150 species and 57 displays for a fun and educational day out. This is a great venue for all the family, however the weather decides to behave.

The magnificent sharks and turtles glide above you in an underwater tunnel. You can visit the delightful penguins, see the sea horses, and coo over the seals! An array of wondrous fish can be enjoyed.

Visitors could be lucky: if you are in the right place at the right time, you can enjoy the ‘Turtle Talk & Feed’; this fascinating talk in the auditorium details the individual stories of the sea creatures, and highlights the conservation issues affecting their species around the world. There is also a shark talk and a shark feed, where the four species at Brighton Sea Life Centre - Black tips, Brown's, Nurse and Zebra sharks - will be spoken of and fed. There are also Tropical Reef talks and feeds. Similarly, visitors will have the opportunity to witness the ray feed, and the lagoon feed.

A new feature at Brighton Sea Life Centre is ‘Serpents of the Sea’. This offers detailed insight into an array of sea snakes, highlighting their beauty and their unique characteristics.

The Sea Life Centre encourages in depth involvement with the creatures, and offers an adoption service. Sharks, seals, penguins and turtles are waiting to be adopted, and the proceeds go towards the conservation work that the Brighton Sea Life Centre is involved in. Each adoption is valid for one year and includes a range of treats and information, including a cuddly toy of the creature you have adopted, a creature photo and a fact sheet.

Brighton Sea Life Centre – Opening Times
